Agnes M Evins nee Owen of St Clair, MO, was born May 3, 1900 in the Lonedell, MO, ares, daughter of the late Charles B Owen and Bertha Noreen Williams Owen. She was united in marriage to John William Evins and four children came to bless this union. She departed this life on Tuesday, August 14, 1990 at Washington Missouri having reached the age of ninety years, three months, and eleven days. Mr Evins preceded her in death January 1, 1970.

Mrs Evins is survived by her son John R Evins and wife Mary of St Louis; three daughters, Winifred E Martin of El Paso, TX, Mildred Westman of Sullivan, and Carolyn Scheer and husband Roger of Union; three sisters, Winnie Musolf of Chula Vista, CA, Violet Anderson of Phoenix, AZ, and Margaret Kehoe of Chicago, IL;two sisters-in-law Marquerite Owen of Fall City, WA and Nora Marchbank of St Clair, MO; one brother-in-law William T Evins of LaGrange, IL; six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson, Barry Martin, one sister, Bertha Owen and three brothers, Herbert, Charles, and Harold Owen.

Agnes had attended the Community Church of St Clair and had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star Robertsville Chapter, Ladies Auxillary of American Legion-Earl Sterling Post, Mount Hope WPFA and Rockford PTA. Some of her enjoyments were flowers, books, hand crafts and sewing, having made all of her children's clothing in earlier years.

A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt and a devoted friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held on August 16, 1990 from the Russell Colonial Chapel, St Clair, with Brother Harold Frick officiating. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lonedell, MO.
