Thomas William Henson, of Sullivan, MO, husband of Michelle Schlueter Henson, and son of Howard and Connie Campbell Henson passed away May 11, 1991 at the age of 26 years.

Tom was born July 17, 1964 at Sullivan and had lived his entire life in the Sullivan area. On August 5, 1989 he was married to Michelle Schlueter at Sullivan. Tom had a special zest for life and a strong desire to help others. He was a certified E.M.T. and worked for a time with the ambulance crew at the Sullivan Hospital. Tom later took his fire fighters training and became employed with the Frontenac Fire Department in St Louis County. In conjunction with his duties with the Frontenac Fire Department, he was currently Fire Chief for the Sullivan Fire Department. Tom was named Fire Fighter of the Year for 1991 by the Sullivan Fire Department. He was also a member of the Fire Fighters Association of Franklin, Gasconade and Crawford Counties, he was also a member of the International Association of Fire Fighters Local #2665. Tom professed his faith in Jesus Christ on May 8, 1977, was baptized and became a member of Temple Baptist Church of Sullivan.

He is survived by his wife Michelle Henson of Sullivan, two children, Bradley and Brittany Henson, both of the family home, his parents Howard and Connie Henson of Sullivan, three sisters Kelly McCullough if Washington, MO, Tricia Blankenship of Rosebud, MO , and Karen Henson of Sullivan, grandparents Bill and Bernice Henson and Evadna Humphrey, all of Sullivan, great-grandmother, Leliah Campbell of Sullivan, parents-in-law, Emmett and Carol Schlueter of Sullivan, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were conducted May 15, 1991 from the Temple Baptist church in Sullivan. Interment was in Oddfellows Memorial Cemetery, Sullivan. Funeral arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.
