Rube W. Deppermann, 93, New Haven, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Grandview Healthcare Center, Washington.
Mr. Deppermann was born in New Haven March 11, 1919, the son of the late Oscar Deppermann and wife Alvina, nee Althage.
He was the husband of Dalphrine (Kloppe) Deppermann. They were married Oct. 27, 1946, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, New Haven.
Mr. Deppermann is survived by his wife, Dalphrine Deppermann, New Haven; two sons, Dennis L. Deppermann and wife Anne, Parker, Colo., and Gary W. Deppermann and wife Peggy, Lake Saint Louis; daughter-in-law, Donna Deppermann, New Haven; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Marlin J. Deppermann; one sister, Erna Brune; and one brother, Leo Deppermann.
He was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Port Hudson. He worked at International Shoe for 15 years. He then owned and operated Lyon Feed Store and later went to work for Gold Key Real Estate as an agent and in property management.
Visitation was held Friday, Nov. 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Port Hudson, with the Rev. William Zastrow officiating.
Burial followed at Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials to Ebenezer Lutheran Church, in care of Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, are preferred.
The family was served by Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
