Have you explored the Sutherland connection in your line?

I'm wondering if it connects to this family in any way.
They left Shelby Co., Indiana in 1857. It seems there must have been a reason that they headed to Boone County after numerous years of living in Indiana....

Catharine RIPPLE, 72 NC, travels with them to MO, though I have no idea who she is.
Tilson Sutherland was working in the Anderson Household.
William Wiley Sutherland should be in the area during 1860, also.

By 1870, the only member of the family who didn't move to SE Missouri was John Sutherland. He remained in Boone Co.
Silven Sutherland has not been found since the 1860 Boone County Census.
