I, also, had found Mary Ann on the two census you found but was struggling to find the date of her second marriage. I am actually taking an Ancestry class in Jeff City so getting the archives won't be a problem...have actually been there before. Do you think the Slinkard family history book is in the archives? If not, would you know how I might find a copy? I do have some possible parents from a book by Lorena Eakers about the migration of early settlers from the Catabaw River area (Lincoln County) in North Carolina into Southeast Missouri. So far, haven't been able to link any of them to my line but I'm still working on it. Her book references the families who came with Bollinger (assuming your relations) to settle in S.E. Mo. Let me know if there's any thing I can share with you from her book, if you don't already have that information.
