I don't know if you will see this? But George Wylie Ford is my Great Grandfather. His Son Gus Lee Richmond Ford is my Grandfather (I never knew or even saw a photo of) my dad is Clifford C. Ford B: Dec 5 1913 Died Sept. 5 1995.
I do have a TREE. But it needs so much work and corrections! This Ford family? Whatever they did for a living or all the places they lived? I can't make heads or tails of any of this. Even with DNA testing... I find George Wylie Ford married to Sarah Lantha Hall. HAD KIDS Then looks like he married her sister Martha Hall? HAD KIDS Then He is married to or had a child with a woman Surname Brassfield? Son Named Sam Ford. Gus had a Brother Ern Ford that lived in McCalester Oklahoma and died in the 1980s. And a Sister Emma Riley Ford Vaughn. She lived here in California. Lived to be 100 years old. Died in 1989. I wish I had know to ask more questions when I was in my 20's. Because I am not sure about a darn thing??? Ern Ernest Cleven Ford Married Hester Scroggins. Hester was not able to have kids. Now get this! Hester Scroggins is my Mom's Aunt. And Ern Ford is my dad's uncle. This is after they moved to Oklahoma. My dad was born in Arkansas my mom in Clayton Oklahoma. I don't think any blood relatives married? Not knowing they may have? from a generation before. Cause the Civil War years are hard to track.Seems a lot of people scattered just scattered to the winds? For me anyway. But There are so many double cousins going back I don't think this puzzle will ever get put together.
My email on Ancestry is Mabachi7@aol.com
. and My Name is Susan Ford Bacigalupi. I'd be interested to know where you found information on George Wylie Ford? Any relative I have found? Probably back to when I was a kid? They didn't TALK about where they came from or give up any information about their ancestors? If you do see this? Or you have a Ancestry account? If you look at my TREE? Remember it's in ProGreSS!!! Slow progress at that... One person I talked to? Was looking at the Religious Missionary angle? Why they moved so often? Or cant be tracked? I'm leaning toward Chasing Drunken Rattlesnakes angle... lol If History repeats itself as they say? All my aunts and uncles were very hard working good Family people. But very hard hard lives for so many. Born in Civil War Time, then Reconstruction Period after Civil War and next generation Wars and The Great Depression. So I do not slight any of them. I do wish I knew a few storys? Whens, Hows & Whys? How the Family splits off in so many directions? The generation before me is all gone now...I am pretty sure my ancestors on every side? Had a connection in The United States(before this was the United States) from Maryland to Virginia Mississippi Alabama to Oklahoma then some of us here in California. Old Old Family Roots... Thanks- Anyone else too that reads my mess... Gotta have a little sense of humor to even do this ANCESTRY...
