We assume Sada is Sadie? It shows her birth is Sept. 1888, in Louisiana. As is her brother's birth. So maybe Minnesota might refer to her mother's birth, or something in the family? The father is listed as French Canadian, which is not really right north of Minnesota. But they could have come through Minnesota I suppose.
