WAYNE AND DEBORAH ROMANN
Wayne Jerry, son of Wayne and Pearl (Bahls) Romann, and Deborah Kaye, daughter of Gordy and Delores (Dykhoff) Rust all of Perham and the late James Wasche were married April 24, 1987 at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Perham. We made our home in Gorman Township.
Wayne works with his dad during the summer at Romann Bait. In the fall he worked at Hammers Construction until 1988 when he started at Golden Ring Trucking of Fergus Falls.
April 25, 1988, Cresenthea Rose was born at Memorial Hospital. We also have two other children: Crystal Joy born June 9, 1980 who is an 8th grader at Perham High School and David William born November 22, 1972 and is working in the Twin cities.
Deb is a stay at home mom who started baby sitting for neighbor kids in 1988. In 1993 she decided to make it her business and got Day Care License. Deb also sells Avon since 1989 and Stanley Home products since 1991.
To get Crystal started in the working world, Deb and Crystal took two paper routes with 217 stops once a week. We did this for 3 years. Now, Crystal is an important helper in the day care business. Wayne is active in the Sportsmen Club and Deb bowls on Thursday night Ladies League and is a member of Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters and E. O. T. Day Care Assns. Both are members of Lutheran Aid and Catholic Aid Assn. Crystal was in volleyball and sings in the church choir. Thea is just active.
Wayne and Deb are descendents of Charles and Gertie (Jorgenson) Bahls, Frank and Agnes (Omans) Romann, Joseph and Grace (Hassler) Wasche, Martin and Rose (Brasel) Dykhoff and Carl and Ada (Castle) Rust.
