How may I help you? I have much information on Edwin Wilcox and Terasa (Aunt Tess) Scott Wilcox. Treasa Scott Wilcox is the twin sister to my husbands great-grandmother. My file on ancestry has photos as well. Here is the vitals I have on Edwin and Tess:
Edwin L. Wilcox b. May 1845 in Michigan (most likely in Wright Township Hillsdale County, MI) He died September 7th 1924 in Mora, Kenabeck County, Minnesota. He married Emily Treasa Scott in Hillsadale county were many other members of the extended family were living. She was born November 5, 1856 in Sandusky County OH and died Jan 12, 1845 in Mora, Minnesota. She was the daughter of William Washington Scott b. 1821 unknown, and died 1864 in Sandusky co OH, from a sickness he developed in the Civil War. Her mother was Susan Brubaker born 1820 and died 1886 both in Sandusky/Senaca County Ohio. The family lived in and around Green Springs. The town of Green Springs is literately divided by the county line. Tess was one of eight girls that lived to adulthood. Several other children including a brother are buried in Ludwig Cemetery. Tess and Edwin had no children of their own, but adopted two children of one of her sisters. Her home seemed to be where kids went to live when they were not with their parent. My mother-in-law's oldest sister lived with "Aunt Tess" and stayed in MN when the rest of the family moved to Detroit Michigan during the depression. Hope this helps. You can always go on ancestry and ask for permission to view my family tree "Krieg" family. The Brubaker line goes way back. It is a very large family. Other family names in MN, are Rowley, and Martin. Emma Scott Martin is her twin. She is burried in Kenebeck MN. at Mora as well as her husband Morris Martin.
