DRENKHAHN, Robert C.
Passed away Saturday, February 11, 2006, at his home. Mr. Drenkhahn was born April 15, 1930 in Paw Paw, son of Walter and Frieda (Christenson) Drenkhahn. He was raised on the family farm and graduated from Paw Paw in 1948. During the Korean War he served with the US Navy. After the war he worked as a Union Carpenter. He enjoyed farming squash, pumpkins, vegetables, chickens, and also driving his Farmall Tractor and cutting wood. Surviving are his wife, Gladys (Kruta) whom he married in 1954; 4 children, Calvin (Patricia) Drenkhahn of Plaistow, New Hampshire, Denise (Ray) Murphy of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, Joyce Drenkhahn of Lewisburg, Tennessee, Lori (Christopher) Kozel of Minot, North Dakota; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; 2 brothers, Walter (Louise) Drenkhahn of Pontiac, William (Shirley) Drenkhahn of Stoughton, Wisconsin; sister, Lois Rock of Grand Junction. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert, Jr. The family will meet friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the

Interment will be at a later time at Tucker Cemetery.
