Looking for help on the families in this St. Louis Cathedral baptismal record for my 2x great-grandfather Joseph CARRILLO in 1827. Parents were Francisco CARRILLO and Lucie LE BLANC. Grandparents were Jose CARRILLO and Rosalia DIAS, Joseph and Marie (no maiden name) LE BLANC. There’s an error with Rosalie listed as both mother and grandmother. Unclear whether it’s Rosalie who is being noted as from Terre-aux-Boeufs or the mother. Baptismal records for two younger children give mother’s name correctly. The family later settled in Hancock Co, MS and spelling of name changed to CARRIO. The family story is that the CARRILLOs owned a schooner that ferried goods and people along the coast. Would like to know if Lucie’s line is Acadian? And is Rosalie a Canary Islands descendant?
