Well, I'll be.

I don't know where to start. Mabel had and has many siblings:

Earl(Mutt)Smith. He was gone for a long time and came back to Bonita in the mid 70's and lived with Pauline. He worked on outboard motors and was the the night marshal for a few years. He died in the 80's, best I can remember. Fine fellow.

Doyline. He married June White and they had two daughters; Paula and Lynette. Paula was married to my older brother for 34 years til they divorced. She is a nurse at Glenwood hospital in West Monroe.
Lynette was sharp as a tack and got into computers years ago. When CenturyTel built their HQ in Monroe, she got the job of setting up and networking the computers.

Francis. I forgot about him earlier. He lives close to Newton on the Bonne Idee out from Mer Rouge.

Howard. He was a carpenter and worked for a local contractor. The contractor bought land around Heber Springs,AR back in the 70's. Howard moved up there to build house and never came back.

Billy Caroll. He left Bonita when he finished school, best I can remember, and I don't know where he went.

Newton, as I've mentioned

Catherine. She and her husband moved to the Ozarks years ago and I haven't seen them in a long time.

I think that's all of them.
I live in Bastrop now but Bonita will always be home although, there's not much left. All the little farming towns have about dried up.

If you ever want to come over this way, I'll show you some of your kinfolks up close and personal.

If this is any help to you, I'm happy.
