Walter Franklin Brawner, 60, a former resident of this city (Frankfort), died Sunday morning at 9:10 o'clock at St. Joseph's Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona, after an illness of ten days. Mr. Brawner was a member of a pioneer Franklin County family, the son of the late Alexander G. and Katherine Morgan Brawner. He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Harry Shaw and Mrs. Mary Stiners, of this city, Mrs. Agnes McEnnis and Mrs. Robert Weedon of Phoneix, Arizona; three brothers, G. Murray Brawner of this city, George Brawner and William Brawner of Phoenix. Before leaving here in 1909 to make his home in Phoeniz, Mr. Brawner was prominently identified in civic and political circles and leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
