End Comes to Well-Known lady Near Oakland
Mrs. Emily Rush, wife of Mr. B. E. Rush, died last Monday morning at ten o'clock at her home five miles south-east of Cadiz. She had been in feeble health for some time. She was a Miss Tart before her marriage and two brothers survive her -- Messrs. Ottoway and John Tart. The husband also survives. She had been married four times, and at the time of her death was seventy-nine years of age. She was a member of the Baptist church, and a splendid lady who had many friends. The burial took place Tuesday at the old Humphries graveyard on Sinking Fork.
