There is a cemetery in Harlan on Cherry Street. My in-laws lived across the street from this cemetery, which was on a hill across from their home. When I first visited, my husband and I climbed up steep stone steps to get into the cemetery. At that time there were a few very old gravestones with names and dates which had eroded but have been told the dates on some of the headstones were in the 1800s. I have been told some remains were moved. Does anyone know what family cemetery this is?
