Raymond Ervin Jump, 81, of Independence, died Friday, October 19, 2007, at his home. He was born in Jonesville, a son of the late Clarence and Mamie Jump and the youngest of ten children. He was a former groundskeeper at Twin Oaks Golf Course in Latonia, a Navy veteran of World War II, an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was also a professional square dancer on the television show, "Midwestern Hayride," shown on WLW-T in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a member of the Lakeside Park Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Elizabeth Downey Jump; daughters, Pamela Jean Robinson of Crittenden and Julie Ann Jump of Independence; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held October 23 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
