Wilma Tackwell, 64, of Princeton, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at 4:20 a.m. at her home, following a short illness.
Born May 16, 1948, in Caldwell County, a daughter of the late Charlie Orange and Mary Elizabeth Rickard Board, she was co-owner of Tackwell Repair, and a homemaker. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Ross Kaiser of Caldwell County and Molly and Bobby Noel of Princeton; three grandchildren, Kirstin Lewis, Nate Noel and Laney Kaiser; two stepgrandchildren, Jessyca Haddix and Gabe Casciato; five stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Connie Teague and husband Billy and Phyllis Hopper, all of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 15, at 1:30 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Matt Smothers officiating, assisted by the Rev. Tommy Tackett.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. (Princeton, Ky.)
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
