Martha Louise Brasher Holloman, 86, of Fredonia, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at 4:42 p.m. at Caldwell Medical Center, following a short illness.
Born Oct. 3,1926, in Caldwell County, a daughter of the late William Milton and Edna Maude Ridley Jones, she was a retired inspector at Arvin Industries and a member of Unity Baptist Church in Fredonia.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Brasher; her second husband, Willie Holloman; eight brothers, Jack Jones, William Jones, Orbie Jones, Willie Jones, L.C. Jones, Murl Jones, Clifton Jones and Donald Jones; and two sisters, Roberta Jones DeBoe and Dorothy Jones.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Clinton and Francis Brasher of Princeton, Gene and Pam Brasher, Jimmy and Debbie Brasher and Richard and Kathy Brasher, all of Fredonia; five grandchildren, Perry Brasher, Van Brasher, Tracey Hadlock, Sandy Hall and Melissa Creekmur; seven great-grandchildren, Austin and Colin Brasher, Megan and Jacob Brasher, Haley Brittian, Ann Creekmur, Fraya Hall; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Roger Waters officiating, assisted by the Rev. Mark Faughn.
Burial for Mrs. Holloman will follow in Rowland Cemetery. (Caldwell Co., Ky.)
