Ronald Larry Ramage, 71, of Hopkinsville, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at 7:20 p.m. at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, of natural causes.
Born July 18, 1941, in Princeton, a son of the late Weldon D. Ramage and Barbara Jeanne Phillips Ramage Sisk, he retired following 20 years service in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He had worked in medical logistics in the Civil Service at Fort Campbell and was a member of the American Legion, and the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret E. Ramage; two sons, Ronald Wayne Ramage of Albuquerque, N.M., and Michael Paul Ramage of Hopkinsville; a daughter, Veronica Lynn Frances of Hopkinsville; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Peggy Jean Oliver of Eddyville.
A memorial service was conducted Thursday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Jason Heidel officiating.
Interment was in the wall at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Lamb Funeral Home in Hopkinsville was in charge of arrangements for Mr. Ramage.
