WM. BLAIR DIES FROM INJURIES
Wm. Blair, aged 50 years, who was injured by a falling derrick at the Bloomington land in this city last Friday, died Saturday night at 9:30 o’clock at St. John’s hospital in Joplin. Saturday morning he was taken to the hospital to have an operation performed to removed the pressure of a fractured skull from the brain. He seemed to rally from the operation but suffered a relapse and death followed a few hours later. The body was brought to his home, 1204 Wall street, where it lies in state today from 2 until 8 o’clock this evening. The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist church and the interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
