Dear Thoraway,

It is nice to meet you on another location in genealogical research and I hope you are having a great day.

You will notice that I have put up a subsequent post on this county board. It is due to your very helpful link in this thread.

Your heretofore unknown source link led me to find three marriages for three different ladies named Julia Hutchinson (!!!) who lived in Iowa in the 1870-1880s. Your lead allowed me to discard two of them as not a proper fit based on years, chronology, or place of birth when I followed on them on subsequent census records in Iowa. The remaining Julia I cite in this new post is a person of interest and I would like to follow her subsequent history, but she married a "J S Taylor" and I cannot find either a JS Taylor or a Julia Taylor on the 1880 Iowa or national census. Any hints about turning "J S" Taylor into a more workable full Christian name?
