I am looking for information on John and Eliza King who left Somerset Co., Pa between 1850 and 1860. In 1850 John age 29 is listed as a stone mason and had children Silas born about 1847 and Andrew born abt 1849. His wife is listed on family charts as Eliza Collins, b. abt 1822 in Pa. John was using the name Jehu in 1840. There is an Jehu and Eliza King in the Graceland Cemetery of Knoxville, Marion Co. Does anyone know if they were from Pa.? On the 1880 census, John is a brick maker and living in Knoxville, Marion Co. with wife Eliza and sons Edward age 20, Eston age 17 and daughter Ann age 15 all born in Iowa. Jacob and Alice King living in Knoxville and working in a brickyard may be the son of John and Eliza. Jacob is born in Pa 1854, wife Alice born in Ky 1856, sons Charles age 4 and Guy age 1 month both born in Iowa. I am hoping to find that Jehu/John is the son of Jacob and Eve Pringey King of Somerset Co., Pa. Eva is the sister of my 3rd greatgrandfather John Prinkey. Thank you for any help you could give me.
