I'm not related to your Moores, however I believe our ancestors were close friends and neighbors. My ancestor, William York, also left Wrightsboro, GA and settled in Preble County, Ohio.

Here are some old deeds that show my William York lived near some Moores:

Early Deeds and Will Abstracts, Columbia Co, GA (rootsweb)
" Apr. 13th 1790. r/Mar. 19th 1798. MORDECAI MOORE to ALEXANDER MOORE for 100 pounds, a 200 acres tract on Upton Creek, adj. WILLIAM YORK, JAMES MOORE and ANDERSON CRAWFORD."

"Dec. 23rd 1797. r/Mar. 21st, 1798. JAMES MOORE to WILLIAM YORK for 100 lbs. sells 50 acres adj. said York's land being part of a 695 acre grant to said JAMES by Gov. of Ga. 1792. "
