In Regards To Your WATSON Lineage Report "A Work In Progress" the records show:

"William WATSON b 5th September 1742 Louisa Co., VA, Was Not A Captain in the Revolutionary War."

William WATSON of "HANOVER CO., VA"., m Martha PLEASANTS, of Goochland, 17th February 1767. Surety: Richard PLEASANTS of Goochland.

This WATSON FAMILY records are to be found in Hanover & Albemarle Cos., VA.

The undersigned states he is personally acquainted with - - - -

He states he also knew William WATSON but not intimately. When he knew him he resided on Tates Creek, Madison County, Ky., some 8 or 10 years ago. He migrated west about that time. The undersigned has not seen him since as he recollects. He knew his sons John & WILLIAM H. WATSON the first slightly having seen him but seldom.

WILLIAM H., the undersigned knew intimately. He resided in the town of Richmond several years having the SADDLER TRADE."

COMMENT: It would have been quite a "commute" for the William A. {H?} WATSON of Davidson Co., TN to the town of Richmond, Madison Co., KY., in order to open that Saddler Shop by 8 o'clock in the morning as William H. WATSON!
