Nola I. "Granny" Lett, 90, Prince Hall Drive, Maion, Indiana, died Tuesday morning in Wesleyan Health Care Center.
Mrs. Lett was born in Weaver.
She was a life resident of Grant County, IN.
Mrs. Lett was a former employee with Marion Community Schools. She was a cafeteria supervisor at Frances Slocum Elementary School.
She was a member of the Church of God Sanctified.
She married James L. Lett on Nov. 23, 1925. He died Feb. 15, 1997.
Survivors include five daughters; Patricia Lett-Martemus, Mrs. James (Sadie) Jones, Mrs. David (Barbara) Griffin and Mrs. Marcell (Ruthanna) Mills, all of Marion, and Alice Simpson, Cleveland, Ohio; a foster son, Lawrence Levi, Jr., Marion; a brother, Cornelius (Alta) Wilson, Marion; a brother-in-law, LaVern Lett, Marion; four sisters; Lucille Harper, Sacramento, California, Clara Vance, Jeanette Bush and Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Weaver, all of Marion; 28 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Greater Second Baptist Church, 705 W. 26th St., with the Revs. Charles D. Jones, Sr. and T. A. Hunter officiating
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park.
Needham-Storey Funeral Service North Chapel, North Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN will be handling the arrangements.
