According to the 1915 Decatur County History book by L. Harding, Lawrence O. and Frances W. (Wallace) Blackmore had a daughter named Frances Olive. She was b. 19 Oct 1867 - 5 miles west of Greensburg. She married Dr. George S. Crawford on 6 July 1898. Apparently he was rather late in life at their marriage. By the books publishing in 1915, they had no children. Her parents were natives of Shelby Co. KY and Rockbridge Co, VA. Lawrence O. Blackmore's father was Owen W. of Shelby Co, KY and came to Decatur Co. in 1835.
Owen W. Blackmore participated in the War of 1812 - was in Captain Ireland's Virginia Militia, wason the rolls of the Indianapolis agency, and may be buried in Kingston (his post office) although it states that the grave had not been located.
