Richard: Could you please post or e-mail me the obits on Daniel Fouch?
Here's an obit on one of his brothers, evidently from a Marshalltown, Iowa, newspaper of March 1915:
PNEUMONIA CLAIMS PETER S. FOUCH, RESIDENT OF COUNTY OVER FIFTY YEARS
After being a helpless invalid for eight years, PETER S. FOUCH, aged 84, and an old resident of this county, died Wednesday evening at 6 o'clock at the home of his son, Wesley Fouch, three miles south of this city on Center Street. Pneumonia was the cause of death, which followed an illness of a week.
Peter S. Fouch was born March 26, 1830, in Frederick County, Maryland, near Boonsboro, and would have been 85 years of age had he lived another week. When 10 years old he moved with his parents to Ogle County, Illinois, and settled near Lanark. On Nov. 5, 1857, he was united in marriage with Susannah Long, who died August 29th, 1894. In 1861 he moved to Marshall County, settling near Liscomb. Since the death of his wife, Mr. Fouch had lived with his son Wesley.
Three children were born: Two sons, [George] Wesley, south of this city, and John, of Portland, Oregon, and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Ellen Wert of Washington, survive their father. Sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the residence of his son, burial following in the Albion cemetery.
