At Stronghurst, John Brown died suddenly the other day. He and his brother Lewis saw a flock of wild geese, got their guns, and both fired simultaneously at the geese without effect. Lewis then commenced to pace off the distance they had fired, when his brother called to him that he was dying. He turned and saw John on his knees praying and in a moment he expired. He was supposed to be in the best of health.
