I tried writing to Ms. Zipse, but apparently that e-mail address is no longer in use. Do you know how I could contact her?
Here is the e-mail I tried to send her, in case anyone else could help:

Dear Ms. Zipse,

I'm not sure that I have Native American ancestry, but I suspect that I do. I was born in Jerome, ID in 1982. My birthparents' names were Lorie Ann Hardman (who has since changed her last name to Raquedan) and Bill Lee Arneson. I have two aunts on Lorie's side, named Kathy(married name Hillis) and Tina. Lorie graduated from Gooding High School in 1980, and Kathy graduated in 1979, but I do not know about Tina. My maternal grandparents were no longer living at the time of my birth. I
have been told that they died together in a car crash. I do not know their names. Lorie had apparently spent most of her childhood in Gooding. I have been searching for any family members, and I have not been able to contact any so far. I have tried to contact many of the Hardmans throughout Idaho, and I have noticed that there are a few Hardmans now living in Oro Fino, ID. Since Oro Fino is located in the Nez Perce reservation, I am wondering if I have Nez Perce ancestry or relatives. Could you please visit my website for full details on my adoption plus photos which may help with identification: . You can contact me at or (208) 440-1204. I will greatly appreciate any kind of information you may obtain.

Thank you,
