The original Lambert who first came to Quebec way back when in the link below. :) (There should be an option at the top of the page to translate it to English.)
I have traced many of these descendants of his (me being one), some of his descendants went to New England from Quebec, some to New Orleans, Lousiana and then over to St. Louis, Missouri (mine, who went to Oklahoma from there after they married in with my Osage lines) or other places in the South, and then to The Dakotas, Michigan and the Midwest from there. All of those lines from this one ancestor above and his sons and theirs and so on!!!
Interesting the way life works. I was adopted but my bio dad comes from those Lamberts above, and now that I have been blessed to find and get to know him and his wonderful wife too, it turns out she too has a Lambert back in her lines (these same lines in this thread; she is a Norrup), and get this, my adoptive mother who raised me, turns out she too comes from the Lamberts above too!!! And my mother and birth dad nor their families did not know or know of each other at the time of my birth, that was all just "random." Makes you wonder about fate and such eh? :)
Hope these links help any of you to find your roots too! If you have done DNA testing on here, type "Lambert" into the surnames search on your DNA matches list and see if any of yours go back to Quebec too. :)http://www.perche-quebec.com/files/perche/individus/lambert....
