Paul "Whiff" Anthony Armstrong, 51, of Soda Springs passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs. Paul was born on December 29, 1960 in Pocatello, Idaho the son of Herman Paul and Judy Edeen Armstrong. He graduated from Pocatello High School and lived in Pocatello until 2001 when he moved to Soda Springs.
Paul met the love of his life and princess, Lydia Davis and they were married on June 26, 2009 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He had worked for FMC for 22 years and has worked recently for Monsanto.
Paul enjoyed woodworking, golfing, building models and working on his 71' Dodge Demon and his Harley Davidson.
He is survived by his wife Lydia Armstrong of Soda Springs, ID, one son John Paul Armstrong of Soda Springs, ID, and five daughters, Keisha Ann Armstrong, Katie Annette Armstrong, Melissa Marie Gallegos, all of Soda Springs, ID, Jennifer Garcia of Rigby, ID, Lynnelle Winder of Ogden, UT. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, three brothers, Pat Armstrong of Boise, ID, David Armstrong, James Armstrong both of Pocatello, ID, a step-mother Joanna Armstrong and a step-brother Roy Pace both of Pocatello. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were held on Tuesday, August, 21, 2012 at Noon at the Hopper Church in Soda Springs. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs,.
Services were under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home.
