Thanks so much for responding and sharing your info.

Yes, John Nall Hardee was my grandfather; he went by Nall. My father was Roswell Nall Hardee; family called him Ros, friends called him Larry (nickname given to him by a high school friend).

I, likewise, cannot find any information on J.P. Rosser. I did find that Robert A. Hardee worked for the Nall Brothers for the 12 years before his death. The Nall brothers were cotton brokers in Griffin/Spalding Co/Pike Co, I believe. I assume that is where "Nall" came from. This is especially interesting to me since my daughter named our 18 month old grandson Henry Nall.

I cannot find much info on Robert's father, Theophilus. I am thinking I may need to make a trip to Montezuma (Macon County) and Lumpkin (Stewart County).
