A. G. Scott, better known as Fred Scott, died of apoplexy in Fort Worth, Texas, January 21, 1918. His wife will arrive in Jacksonville with his remains, Sunday evening. Funeral arrangements by Moulton & Kyle, exact date to be given later.
Mr. Scott, was for a number of years a member of the Elks Club and Traffic Club and was connected with the Pullman Company, as conductor and in various positions here for a number of years. He was employed by the Pullman Company at Fort Worth, Texas at the time of his death. He was widely known and had a host of friend throughout the State of Florida.
