Edmund FANNING and family lived around Stonington in the 1600's. Bryant FANNIN(G) was in Virginia by mid 1700s. He died in Amelia County, 1765. Descendants migrated to SW Virginia and Eastern Kentucky in early to mid-1800s. I'm looking for connections in the FANNING family goint from CT to VA in the late 1600s to early 1700s; then from VA in late 1700's to SW VA and E-KY in early 1800's.

I don't know that the VA Fannins came fromt he CT Fannings, but need help to find out. Thanks. RSayre
