James Patrick Woulfe
James Patrick Woulfe, 62, died Oct. 11 at the Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins.
He was born Feb. 12, 1937 in St. Paul, Minn. to Patrick James Woulfe and Helen Myrtle (Schwope) Woulfe.
He graduated from high school in St. Paul, Minn. and then attended UCLA. He also served in the navy.
He worked for Fort Aeroneutronics in Calif. for five years and then moved to Leadville in 1970, working for Amax in Climax for 17 years as a shift manager.
In 1987, he moved to Fort Collins and began working for Eastman Kodak in Windsor until 1998.
On Aug. 14, 1998, he married Tina Hamilton in Fort Collins.
He was an avid bicycler, hiker and runner and was involved with local cycling clubs. He also enjoyed traveling and skiing, but his biggest hobby was his grandchildren.
His church affiliation was with the John XXIII University Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Tina Woulfe, Fort Collins; sister Maryann Wewerka, Los Alamos, N.M.; daughter Mickey (Nick) Mohs, Littleton; sons Patrick James (Mandy) Woulfe, Leadville; and John William (Michelle) Woulfe, Lakewood; step-daughters Becky and Meghan Hamilton, Fort Collins; granddaughter Danielle Woulfe, Lakewood; and grandsons Jimmy Woulfe, Leadville; Joseph Woulfe, Lakewood; and Nicholas Mohs, Littleton.
A memorial service took place Oct. 14 at the Reager Funeral Home with Deacon Leonard Benzel officiating. The family then had an outdoor service in Estes Park. Woulfe was cremated.
