I talked to the Merced District cemetery this afternoon..Both are buried in the Asphodel. She was able to locate them in the older plat maps...after I gave her the death dates, this help her locate them..

Asphodel cemetery was never surveyed, records prior to 1929 weren't well maintained.

Asphodel cemetery
Lot 14, grave # 249= Martha Jane Stevens
Lot 14, grave # 250= Chas E. Stevens
Lot 14, grave # 248= E. E. Stevens
[there's an Alfred Loy buried in grave 246, is he leated?}

Was E. E. Stevens the son of Charles & Martha? If so when did he die, and what was his full name. I can let the cemetery know..Will also check the Merced Express for a possible obit for Martha, the SJVA didn't give many details........Alma
