William B. "Matt" Dillon, 64, of Stockton, died Wednesday in a Stockton hospital. A lifetime resident of Stockton, Mr. Dillon retired as an electronics teacher at San Joaquin Delta College. He was past president of the San Joaquin Chapter of the Retired Officers Association, a member of Fleet Reserve Association, SIRS, Branch 46, California and Hawaiian Amateur Radio Group, Maritime Mobile Amateur Radio Club and served in the U.S. Navy for 26 1/2 years. Survivors include his wife, Betty Dillon of Stockton; a son, William B. Dillon II of Severn, MD; his mother, Anna Dillon of Olympia, Wash.; and two grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 PM today at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California St., Stockton. Visitation will be from 8 AM until service time today. Burial will be at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi. Memorials to a favorite charity have been suggested.
