I'm trying to track my great grandfather Santiago Lopez. Two different birthplaces have been given for him; the one in the obituary below is for [H]Ornitos, CA. Does Marisposa county have birth records going this far back? If so, how do I get the records?

"Plan Final Rites Saturday for Santiago Lopez, 93" Nov. 12, 1943
Santiago Lopez, 93, resident of Yuma County for the past 72 years passed away Wednesday evening at the home of his daughter Miss Emilia Lopez, 683 Orange Ave., Yuma. Mr. Lopez was born in Ornitos, Cal. in 1850 and came to Yuma at the age of 21 years, residing here ever since. At one time he was a cattleman in Cibola Valley.
Surviving him are four sons and four daughters. The sons: Manuel of Blythe, Cal., Arturo, Los Angeles, Cal., Octavio, San Francisco, Cal. and Bruno, Yuma. The daughters: Miss Emilia Lopez, Mrs. Isaac Polhamus and Mrs. Mary Allen of Yuma and Mrs. John Loyacon of Sacramento, Cal. Rosary and wake will be held this evening from 8 to 11 p.m. and funeral services will be at Immaculate Conception church at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Yuma Catholic Cemetery."
