Graveside services were held for Ralph Otto Knapp at Fresno, California Memorial Gardens on Saturday, June 17, 2000 at 11 am. Military Honors were presented by the 11th Distric V.F.W. Honor Guard.
Ralph was born in 1919, in Ft. Scott, KS and was a resident of San Joaquin, California since 1960. He retired after 25 years service for Ferry Morrie Seed Company.
Ralph served during WWII in the 11th Airborne Division. He was Past Commander of San Joaquin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #9538, and 11th District Commander for two years.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lela; sons and daughters-in-law, Guy and Rona of Folsom, and Ralph and Ruth Ann of Kerman; grandchildren, Alicia, Kalem and Kirt; a brother, Bob Knapp of Morning Sun; a sister, Margaret Brizzie of Clovis, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitaion was 6-8 pm Friday, June 16, at the Kerman Funeral Chapel.
