Hello. If you have Liles in the family in White County, then you connect to the Russell Price family from South Carolina who arrived in 1835 or '36, depending on you believe, on what became White County. They had made a swing through Alabama on the way.
Amaziah Liles married Jane Price who was Russell's daughter on Nov. 20, 1837. They would be called some of the founders of the county, I would think.
Amaziah was the son of a Jordan/ perhaps named Ruben and carried his mother's family name. I mention that only in case you get to researching and get lost a ways back. He is said to be listed in the proper records of the time.
