Separate queries to each county board would have been a better start instead of putting two families together.

Wiley Jones b. GA 1838 - 1840 preferred Wiley over Robert, enlisted as Wiley Jones CSA listed as Wiley Jones 1866 Coffee Co and was already married to Elizabeth in 1860 and lived next to his inlaws Shadrach L McGinty wife Winifred Mary Davidson having moved to AL from Henry Co GA somewhere around 1850 to 1854. They were the only Jones in Pct 9 in 1860. 1880 census says father b. GA mother SC. Perhaps there are clues in his childrens names: Melissa 1863, Geo W 1865, Fanny 1868, Monroe 1874, Daniel Palestine 1878/79-1957 and Laura Lee. Appears two born between Fanny and Monroe that died before 1880 as all of the above were alive 1900 - 1910 per Elizabeth McGinty Jones 1900 and 1910 census records.
