John B Bragg, 72. Dies In Birmingham---John B Bragg, 72 of 7131 First Avenue, North, former Sumter County resident, who had lived in Birmingham for the past 17 years, died at a local hospital Wednesday night after a short illness./Surviving are the widow; six daughters, Mesdames E. M Drinkard, H V Gilmer, G C Kemp, R L Ackerman, Bob McFrances, all of Birmingham, and Mrs Guy Campbell of Alexander City; four sons, E T Bragg and L E Bragg, Birmingham; Yeoman, First Class C P Bragg and Seaman First Class, Henry L Bragg both in service. And 19 grandchildren./Services were held at 5 pm Thursday at Ruhama Baptist Church with the Rev J C Stivender officiating. Burial at Forest Hill Cemetery---Bham. News./ Mr Bragg was well known in York and surrounding section, having been a resident of this county for some years before going to Jefferson County, and also had relatives here.
