"Ogilvie (Yukon) Hackelsack"

I found Ogilvie on an old map of the Yukon Territory. It appears to be a small settlement on the Yukon River about 40 miles south of Dawson. There is no modern reference to the settlement so it may have only existed during the Klondike Gold Rush 1896 - 1899. I find no reference as yet on "Hackelsack", possibly it was the name of a mine or claim owner.
William Ogilvie was an early explorer & surveyor of the Yukon Territory and many places were named after him and he wrote many articles & pamphlets on the gold rush.
If he went to the Yukon before 1900, it might explain why he does not show up in any US records.
I find it strange that he and his fellow passengers, the Anderson family & Anders Westlund all disappear after arriving in NY.
