Classification: Query
Surnames: De Clute
During the War of 1812, the 3rd York Militia was mustered from the Town of York (Toronto) and the townships to the east.

Three De Clute men served in this regiment. Spelling variations were DeClute & DeCloot.

Jeremiah De Clute
Richard De Clute Sr.
Richard De Clute Jr.

I am not related to these people. I am researching the 3rd York Militia during the war and would like to know more about their family histories. I have service records for the regiment, a muster roll with about 700 names, and other documents. Please contact me if you can help me with my research or have questions about other veterans. A copy of the 3rd York Muster is available by email.
