Hi Sandy, So it’s your Granny Ethel Maud that started all this bunk about Ralph having a son Moses and
Thomas being the son of Moses. I always wonder who started all this.

You said, “...ethel morden, daught. of Peter Melville morden, son of Thos morden...” My information has
it that Peter Melville Morden 1850-1930 was the son of Moses Morden 1821-1911 who was the son of
Thomas Morden 1790-1863. You may have seen a reference to this Moses in my Old Moses Morden

You said, “Gran's brother Cliff.” My information has that Cliff Morden was the son of William Edgar
Morden 1878-1951 who was your Gran’s brother.

Again, there were ‘four only’ Moses Mordens in West Flamborough.

1. Granny Ethel’s Grampy Moses Morden who married Rebecca Warren.
2. John Morden’s son Moses Morden who married Phoebe Pratt on the 11th of Jan. 1825.
3. Samuel Morden's son Moses Morden who married Ann Morden the daughter of Daniel Morden.
4. And then there is Old Moses Morden, seven year veteran of the Revolutionary War, first industrialist of
West Flamborough, brother of the aforementioned Samuel and Daniel, a very generous uncle, the son of
James Morden and the most misrepresented of all the Mordens.

Do get in touch with me that we might better share information. I am anxious to hear more about Granny
Ethel Maud, Cliff and the others that you know of.
