Thanks for the reply. This is a wrong connetion for me as my Peter Lard signed his future father-in-law's will in 1808. He drown in Lake Ontario in 1818. His wife remarried in 1823 to Isaac Lewis. My gr.gr. grandfather John McKay and his brother Peter Davey Lard were born 4 months after he drown. Their older brother Billings and his sons went to deloraine, Manitoba in 1892. I have recently found out that Billing's son was an early settler of Wainwright, Alberta and a prominent builder there. Iam Assuming Billings died shortly after there arrival there as he was on the 1891 census in Ont. but not on the 1901 census with his sons in Manitoba.
