I beleive there are two Moses Martin that married a Marie Pilotte. the first one I found was in the 1880 census in Dover Twp., Kent Co., Ontario
Moses Martin, age 41, born Quebec
Mary, age 34, born Quebec
Eugene, age 16, born ON
Napolean, age 14, born ON
Alfred, 9, ON
Louise, 7, ON
Henry, 5, ON
Lida, 3, ON
Now according to this framily tree Marie Pilotte was born 1842 in Quebec and died 1924 in Kent Co. Ontario, Her parents are Leon Pilotte and Mathilde Roberts. She married Moses Martin born about 1840 in Quebec, They married Jan 27, 1863 in St Jacques le Minuer, Quebec.
the Moses Martin I found in the 1901 census
Moise Martin, born Nov 15, 1837, age 63
Mary, born June 6, 1841, age 59
living with son
Wilfred Martin, May 20, 1872, age 28
Elenne, aug 13, 1877, age 23, wife
Petter, Jul 10, 1882, age 18
Delena, JUly 8 1878, age 22
Jephire, Jun 20, 1884, age 16
also living by them
now according to this family tree this Marie Pilotte born Jun 6, 1841 in Ontario, died 1906 in Kent Co., Ontario
married Mosie Martin born Nov 15, 1827 in Montreal, Quebec. Her parents are Jsoeph Pilotte and Appoline Couterelle.
Now I either have two family merge or we have the wrong parents. According to the obit for Mary Martin who married Oliver Leburn (Brown) her brothers names were Henry, Pete and the other brothers name started with an (S) (maybe Zephyr)
This is very confusing. I let you know if I get it stright out.
Sorry for giving the wrong information. Genealogy is like a puzzle. It is alot of guess work.
