Sharron, I have been researching for over 20 years...just because the book you have found doesn't have Miles in it as one of Miles and Hannah's son's..doesn't mean he is not!!! Make the common sense connection! Check other sources, Sharron, that is what genealogy is all about. Old genealogy books have errors in them. LDS files most certainly does have Miles as their son. apparently you are not researching deep and long enough! Or your LDS files are not as extensive as the files we have here in Muskegon Co. Is it "Just" a coincidence that these two Miles were both born in Bayhem...both lived in the same Co. in MI? No, I don't think so! Miles was the oldest son of Miles and Hannah, and if you don't want to believe that and want to stop your research short and make it a lie to pass on to your branch, you go ahead...but that is wrong of you to do and that is how family myths get started. We are cousins. Period! Do the research!
