I'm not sure if anyone has answered you privately or not - they may have. But here is the ancestry for Toussaint Charbonneau just in case, and for anyone researching the line who might want the info:
Toussaint's parents were Jean Charbonneau and Marie-Catherine Deniau. Jean was the son of Michel Charbonneau and Marguerite Denoyon (Denoyan). Michel was the son of Olivier Charbonneau and Marie-Marguerite Garnier.
Marguerite Denoyan was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Denoyan and Marie Chauvin. Marie-Catherine Deniau was the daughter of Pierre Deniau and Marie-Anne Cesar.
Toussaint had no proven direct descendants beyond his own children. Son Jean-Baptiste was the father of a boy (Anton Fries) who was born in Germany while Jean-Baptiste was there. The child died at 3 months old.
It is believed he may have also been the father of another child - a girl named Maria Cantarina Charguana, who was born in 1848 in California. I don't know if any DNA tests have ever been done to confirm this. I've never heard of or read about any, and as far as I know Maria is not proven to be his child.
Lissette died as a very small child, while in the care of William Clark.
I love researching the Charbonneau lineage and ancestry, and would love to correspond with anyone who is also researching the line.
