One of the most interesting women i have ever researched born Elizabeth McCulloch known as Libbie or Lib on August 27, 1853 the daughter of Thomas McCulloch & Mary Jane Laffin of Tennecape.
Elizabeth had two children William Fahey born January 1, 1875 and Annie Fahey born March 28, 1877. Elizabeth however did not marry there father James Fahey (born April 1851) a Roman Catholic until June 15, 1878 when a Roman Catholic Priest from Windsor came to perform the marriage on the Beaverbank Road, Rawdon Elizabeth was a protestant and it appears that James was on his death bed and wanted to make amends before going to the great beyond, so he married Elizabeth and at the same time as the marriage Elizabeth and her two children William & Annie were all baptized by the Roman Catholic Priest.
One thing for certain Elizabeth was a survivour after the death of James less then a year goes by before widowed Elizabeth is married again on January 1, 1879 Elizabeth married William Riley of St. Croix the son of James Riley and May Ann Kennedy. Elizabeth and Will Riley resided in East Noel and had one child togather Everett Riley who was born Oct. 27, 1885. Family legend has it that Will Riley left Elizabeth and moved back to St. Croix.
If anyone has any information to add it would be greatley apppreciated
